You can fund your transfer using a debit card. The debit card must be linked to a UK bank account.
What does my debit card need to have to be accepted?
Your card should have the following features:
- 16-digit card number
- Valid expiry date
- 3D security enabled
- CVC/CVV security code
We unfortunately don't accept payment by prepaid cards as the card providers usually decline these.
1. Set up your order
Log in to your GlobalWebPay account and set up your transfer in the usual way. Full steps can be found here.
2. Select debit card at the payment step
At the final step, you'll be asked to select a payment method for funding your order.

Enter your card details or select a saved card.
Review the order and select Pay.
What if my card payment fails?
If your card payment fails you will receive a Card Funding Failure email from GlobalWebPay containing the error message.
The first thing to make sure of is that you are using a UK issued Debit card and not a Credit card.
If you believe everything is in order with your card you can attempt to make the card payment again but it is important to note that you are only allowed 5 card attempts in a 24 hour period.
It may just be easier to re-checkout your order but choose to fund with a bank transfer using your internet banking instead.
